These are the different procedures used to repair a dial. Most are chosen at our discretion. Please read the description corresponding to the type dial. Please choose Standard Service or High Grade Service. All work on high grade watch dials will be High Grade Service.

2) The dial can be repaired so that the cracks do not continue to spread, then the dial is “whited” out (or whatever the original color), and the dial is reprinted with the original print. The whiting out process can be airbrush, or if possible, a re-bake of a thin enamel coat. This will be determined on a per dial basis. If the re-bake is used, the dial has an excellent look as if original. This is not reversible. If the dial is airbrushed, it is reversible, and the dial has a bit of a glazed look. Either way, there is a small loss of definition in the beveled areas, for sunk dials. And, either way, the dial will look great in the case.
High Grade / Expedited Service
Dial will be
restored only in the areas that need to be. The resulting repair will
be as close to
museum quality as possible.
Estimate of repair is $325 to $395.
Option 1)
Repair Most repairs are between $195 and $245.
Actual cost will billed upon completion of work.
Any estimates above this will be submitted for approval.
Option 2)
Remake Real
Porcelain dial remade to exact specifications and colors as original.
Prices start at $ 95 for a 4” dial $150
for a 6” and go up to $495 for a 15” dial
